Wymeswold Preschool is a not-for-profit organisation and is registered with the Charities Committee (Registered Charities Number 1027215). We are run by an elected volunteer committee made up of parents and carers. The committee are responsible for reviewing both policy and practice, the employment and appraisal of members of staff and for managing finances, including fundraising.

 

Wymeswold Preschool relies heavily on fundraising in order to keep our fees affordable to all and help subsidise our running costs. The playgroup committee work very hard organising events throughout the year including the Christmas Fair, Easter egg hunt, Wymeswold Duck Races and our annual summer dance, to name a few. We have also received grants from the Duck Race Fund and the Wymeswold Village Show in order to help purchase new equipment for Preschool.

Outside of these events you can help support preschool and donate at any time using the method below.

There are a variety of ways you can help us raise the funds we need to keep this valuable resource going for all the young children in our community. If you have a fundraising idea or would like to get involved with helping us in raising funds for playgroup we would love to talk to you.

  • You can make a donation to our Bank Account using the details below;

    Account Number: 36098168
    Reference: The word 'DONATION' plus your name

  • If you have a phone contract with O2, EE, Vodafone, Three, Virgin or Sky, you can make a one off donation to us from £1 to £20.
    Text the word GIFTED followed by your donation amount e.g. 'GIFTED20', to 70470 to give that amount.
    Texts will cost your donation amount plus one standard network rate message. Should you wish to donate more than £20 you can send additional texts. You can also add Gift Aid.

  • If you would like to make a monthly donation please text MONTHLYGIFT followed by your donation amount e.g. 'MONTHLYGIFT10' to 70470 to donate that amount per month. Texts will cost your donation amount plus two standard network rate messages
